How to Install Window Regulator
the basic steps involved in installing a window regulator are as follows: .disconnect the previous window regulator: disconnect the wiring harness and any linkage or mechanical components that connect the previous window regulator to the window glass. install the novel window regulator: carefully position the novel window regulator assembly in place and secure it with bolts or screws as needed. connect the novel window regulator: reconnect any linkage or mechanical components that connect the novel window regulator to the window glass, and plug in the wiring harness. measure the novel window regulator: with the novel window regulator installed, measure the operation of the window to ensure that it raises and lowers smoothly and evenly. reinstall the door faceplate: once the novel window regulator is installed and measurement, reinstall the inner door faceplate and any associated components that were removed earlier.
