Overview Rear disc brake conversion kit for Ford 9-inch passenger-car rear axles with big-bearing housing ends. It is designed for specified axle offsets and wheel bolt patterns and is not intended as a direct OEM replacement. Key Features - Vented cast iron rotors measure 11.25 in in diameter and 1 in thick - Dual wheel bolt patterns: 5 x 4.5 in and 5 x 4.75 in - Single-piston GM Metric-style calipers with 7/16-20 banjo-style inlets - Includes mounting brackets, hardware, and illustrated installation instructions - No provisions for a parking brake Specifications Rotor Diameter: 11.25 in Rotor Thickness: 1 in Rotor Center Hole: 2.78 in Bearing Outside Diameter: 3.150 in Axle Offset: 2-3/8 in to 2-1/2 in Wheel Size: 15 in or larger Fitment Notes For passenger-car Ford 9-inch axles with big-bearing ends and 3/8 in bearing retainer bolt holes. Not for pickup housings or most 1950s 9-inch housings; late-1950s station wagon rear ends are an exception. Axle flange diameter must not exceed 6-1/4 in. Requires 15 in or larger disc-brake-style wheels. No parking-brake provisions. Some applications may require modifications.
