Overview Rear disc brake conversion kit for passenger-car Ford 8-inch rear ends and big-bearing 9-inch housings. It converts the rear axle from drum brakes to disc brakes and includes rotors, calipers, brackets, cables, hoses, and hardware. Key Features - Vented cast iron rotors measure 11 in in diameter and 1 in thick - Rear calipers are GM D154-style single-piston units with an integrated parking brake - Rotor bolt patterns: 5 x 4.5 in and 5 x 4.75 in - Includes rubber brake hoses, E-brake cables, mounting brackets, and installation instructions Specifications Rotor Diameter: 11 in Rotor Thickness: 1 in Minimum Recommended Wheel Diameter: 15 in Axle Flange Offset: 2.36–2.50 in Bearing O.D.: 3.150 in Rotor Center Hole: 2.78 in Maximum Axle Shaft Flange Diameter: 6.125 in Caliper Inlet: 7/16-20 Fitment Notes For passenger-car axles only. Requires big-bearing housing ends with 3/8 in bearing-retainer bolt holes. Use with 15 in or larger disc-brake-style wheels. Axle flange offsets must be 2-3/8 to 2-1/2 in. Axle shaft flange diameter must not exceed 6-1/8 in; machining may be required for clearance. The kit is not intended as a direct OEM replacement, and some applications may require modifications.
