How to Install Universal Joint
the drive shaft. use a u-joint press to retaining clips and bearing caps. press out the worn joint carefully without damaging yokes. position the new joint, keeping needle bearings aligned. press caps into place and install new retaining clips. reinstall the drive shaft with proper phasing between yokes.
