Does the convertible top on your 1961-1964 Oldsmobile 98 flap in the wind as you are driving down the road? We may have the solution for you, this is a pair of direct replacementside tension cables for your car. The side tension cables are an important part of your convertible top, they help hold the sides (over the side windows) of the convertible top material from shrinking up and leaving ugly gaps, they also help keep the top from flapping around in the wind. If you are thinking of replacing your convertible top you should check your side tension cables, considering all the money a new top and installation costs, this is inexpensive insurance to make sure your top works like it should and lasts a long time.
Convertible Top Specialists manufactures our side tension cables using plastic coated cable to make sure they won't rub on your top and possibly cause damage. The cables are made right here in our facility in Florida, all of the parts we use are
made in the USA to make sure you will receive the best quality cables made. We have built specially designed presses to crimp the fittings on the cables and a sample from each batch is tested using a Dillon pull dynamometer, we build quality into every part.
